Product specification
Single-component polyurethane-based adhesive sealing compound which reacts with atmospheric humidity and is rubbery when cured.

Application
ORTEC.PUR is suitable for bonding metals and plastics and for sealing seams and narrow joints. Its outstanding properties include rapid curing, high elasticity and resistance to ageing. ORTEC.PUR can be coated and sanded.

Usage
The surface (bonding faces) must be clean, dry and free from oil and grease.
ORTEC.PUR can be applied either with a hand-held gun or with an automatic system and special nozzle attachment.
Jointers or spatulas moistened with water can be used to work in the applied compound.
ORTEC.PUR can be covered with alkyd resin and acrylic coatings using wet-on-wet application methods.
The curing process is not affected by the coating.
The cure time depends on the air humidity, temperature and the depth of the joint.
An increase in temperature and air humidity will aid the cure time.

Working temperature: +15°C to +25°C (it is not advisable to use the product below 5°C)

Cure time: 4 mm / 24 hours (at 50% relative humidity and 23° C )

Setting type: Moisture-curing

Delivery form: 600 ml film pouch (can be supplied in other containers on request)

Colour: Black

Storage: Recommended storage temperature 10°C to 25°C

Shelf life: 12 months in sealed original container
